Novi Sad has a long history of jazz music and has served as a starting point for many renowned musicians.
The Novi Sad Jazz Festival is one of the city's most significant events. It is organized by the Cultural Center of Novi Sad in November every year. It features notable European, American, and regional artists. Concerts take place at the Serbian National Theater. The event lasts 3-4 days and also includes other programs held at various locations in Novi Sad. Prominent performances from the past years include the Selen Gülü Trio, Duško Gojković and the RTS Symphony Orchestra, and the Mark Turner Quartet.
