Deurić Winery

In the newly built wineries, only grapes from their own vineyards are used to produce top quality wines.

The “Deurić winery” is located on the sunny, southern slopes of Fruška gora, at a height of 250 meters, in the town of Mala Remeta, near the Vrdnik spa. Fruška gora has always had a great potential and an important role in Serbian winegrowing, and in the last few years its importance as one of the most important wine tourist destinations in the region has increased. The exceptional position and natural characteristics, especially the southeastern slopes of the Fruška gora, have long been known and used. The Roman Emperor M.A.Probus, in the 3rd century BC, according to the historical sources, planted the first vineyards on its southeastern slopes in the area of the former city of Sirmium. The Slavs continued to cultivate the vines, and the continuity was especially contributed by Serbian medieval monasteries whose lands were the backbone of the preservation and duration of viticulture, wine-cellaring and wine-growing. The vineyards of the “Deurić winery” span across 14 hectares. Linden preserving parks, clean air, springs, lakes and woodland, surrounded by vineyards, are the basis for the production of quality wines. The newly built winery uses exclusively grapes from its own vineyards to produce top quality wines with the expert consultation of the eminent team of oenologists from France. Winery “Deurić” currently has two labels on the market: 1. White wave 2014 - dry white wine, 2. Red wave 2014 - dry red wine.
