Winery Conte Vallone

The winery is known for making the best quality wines. It is famous for its cabernet sauvignon, conte rose, sauvignon blanc, muscat ottonel and many others.

“Conte Vallone” winery is located in the village Gudurica in the municipality of Vrsac. Where the Carpathians and the vineyards of Vrsac collide. As if touched by the hands of God on the hills intersected by wild glens, sheltered from the outside world is Gudurica, a very unusual little village. In this small mountain village in the middle of the plains of Banat, with the highest peak of Vojvodina towering behind it exists a centuries old tradition of cultivating vines and making top quality wines. By the end of the 19th century the vineyards of Vrsac were the biggest and most significant vineyards of Hungary with its 10.000 ha. According to different beliefs and village stories the cultivation of the vines in this region dates back all the way to the Romans or even earlier. And it is exactly here, right on the edge of Gudurica where the “Conte Vallone” winery is located. Which for the last 10 years has been considered to be one of the guardians of wine making tradition. The new stage of the development of the “Conte Valone” wine cellar starts with the construction of a new wine cellar with a volume of 80,000 liters according to the highest standards from which the best quality wines from different grape varieties will be obtained from the vineyard. Its most famous wines are cabernet sauvignon, conte rose, sauvignon blanc, muscat ottonel and many others.
