In the center of Sremska Kamenica, on the main road, there is a memorial for "Jovan Jovanović Zmaj" (Museum of Zmaj). Currently, the museum is part of the museum of Novi Sad, Zmaj's house is a testimony of the life and work of one of the greatest Serbian romantics. The museum was founded by the "Zmaj" society, which was launched in 1904. In the last year of his life, Jova Zmaj spent in this house, which was adapted and opened for visitors in 1933. The museum represents smaller parts of a whole: Zmaj's family life, work on children's literature, his posthumous work, and so on. The museum is open from 9 am to 4 pm from Monday to Friday and from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. Group visits are required to be announced a few days before arrival.
