The Beočin monastery is a women's monastery dedicated to the resurrection of Christ and is located near the village of Beočin, on the north side of the Fruška gora, between two bergs, covered with dense forests. The time of its building has not been accurately determined, but it is mentioned in some records that it has existed since the 16th century. The monastery has the relics of Bishop Varnava Nastić, the youngest Serbian educator. This monastery is adorned with a park that the French planted 150 years ago, a copy of the Versailles park with a fountain and pool in the middle. In the Second World War, the monastery was attacked, but the buildings remained undamaged, unlike the other monasteries of Fruška gora. Nearby are the Dumbovački waterfalls, one of the scenic areas of the Fruška gora National Park, as well as the Brankovac picnic area.
