Vojvodina’s youngest and fastest-growing art festival at the foot of the Windmill in Orom.
Windmill Festival is a summer-closing celebration. It has been taking place a few kilometres south of Subotica near the village of Orom since 2014. This general arts event promotes tolerance and the fostering and creation of traditions in alternative ways. The three-day camp and fair accompanied by music was preceded by a creative, film, photo, actors’ and movement theatre camp in the past years. Literature was neither missing from the daily programs, nor the children's programs. The organisers place great emphasis on the features of the area, so it is part of the program to get acquainted with them. The environmental awareness of the camp also encourages campers for such thinking.
