Every year on the day of the Birth of the Virgin Mary (September 8th) a fair is organized in Doroslovo. It attracts thousands of pilgrims from around the country.
The local fair in Doroszló, more famously known as Kisboldogasszony nap (Birth of the Virgin Mary, held on September 8th), is held annually and it attracts pilgrims and various people from around the country. The true believers arrive one day before the actual event, and they travel by carriage, motor vehicles, and some even come by foot. On the very first day, the pilgrims have a procession followed by the light of candles, whilst holding the unique flag of their own religious communion. An important part of the fair is the bishop's mass, as well as the other masses which are held in different languages, such as Croatian, German, and Slovak. The believers go to this spectacular event in need of solace for the soul and flesh, where there is also a miraculous well. This well is said to have healing properties, both for the body and mind.
