Panonija Castle is located in a green oasis of oak trees, conifers, pine wood with clean forest air, so it is ideal for relaxation and enjoyment.
Panonija Castle was built in 1846 for the noble family Falcione. The construction of the castle was realised by count Árpád Falcione. It is located on the estate "Panonija", near a village called Bajša. It is a modest ground-floor building, located in an exceptionally well-groomed spacious park. The castle was built in the spirit of mature classicism. The decorative wrought iron guards on window openings are authentic works from the epoch of classicism. Several mirrors, tile stoves, flooring - parquet, carpentry, a writing-table, some stucco decoration and a small library are preserved in the interior. Today the building serves as a museum with preserved authentic things from the castle. In the complex of the castle there is the hotel-restaurant Biser. The whole complex around the castle is designed for relaxation and enjoyment.
