The gallery, with a fund of 821 paintings, is surrounded by naïve painters’ ateliers. Due to the Slovak people who cherish the art, the site is known as the ‘’world metropolis of naïve painting’’. It is of a great cultural significance for the international art scene, as well as the Slovak national community. The permanent setting includes 31 oil on canvas paintings by ZuzanaHalupova, and 28 pieces by Martin Jonaš.
