Drummer Festival in Čoka

The Drummer festival (also known as the town crier festival) commemorates the craft of town criers. In olden days, drum rolls were a way of communicating in the Čoka area.

At Čoka's most dynamic event, guests can try traditional delicacies while watching the carnivalesque procession of drummers. The festival includes a contest of Dobos cakes (aka. "Drummer cake") and a bazaar of artisanal souvenirs. In the evening, guests can also enjoy concerts.
