Ethno House in Bačka Topola

The Etno House in Bačka Topola is one of the last traditional buildings of the town.

The Etno house in Bačka Topola was built of tightly packed mud and straw in 1843. It represent the traditional architecture of local people. It's a typical Panonian three-part house. It is furnished with pieces of furniture from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Most of the ethnological furniture and objects found in the house originally belonged to the family living in the house, and a smaller part was collected from elsewhere. It has been open to the public since 1986, and it is one of the prominent cultural monuments of the city since then. Various workshops are held in the yard of the house from spring to autumn.
