Program description:
Discover the mysterious world of Western Bačka, where tradition and modernity exist in perfect harmony! During this weekend, you will experience the diversity of the Vojvodina region, where gastronomy, history, and nature meet in a unique way. The program will take you through the hidden treasures of rural landscapes, allow you to participate in local festivals, and savor the finest local dishes. You will also have the opportunity to gain historical insights at special locations and enjoy the atmosphere of traditional balls.

Recommended programs:
Friday

Departing in the early morning, enjoy a comfortable journey to Vojvodina.
Monostor program: Visit an authentic local museum, where you can explore local traditions and gastronomic specialties, including honey and rakija tastings. A short walk will reveal the secrets of the “European Amazon.”
City tour in Sombor: The historical and cultural heritage of Sombor awaits you. During the tour, we will visit the city’s most important landmarks, including Ferenc Eisenhut’s famous painting and the renovated Hungarian Casino.
Wine tasting and dance lesson: After the city tour, you can participate in a wine tasting paired with a cheese platter. The atmosphere will be further enhanced by a short csárdás dance lesson, where participants can try out their dance skills.
Dinner and accommodation in Sombor: We will end the day with a shared dinner at one of Sombor’s finest restaurants, followed by check-in at our accommodation.

Saturday

Sausage Festival in Nemesmilitics: The day will begin with an exciting gastronomic festival, where you can taste all the delicious offerings at the Nemesmilitics Sausage Festival. There is something for everyone, from traditional sausages to homemade delicacies and special local drinks.
Visit to the Pink Lake in Pačir: After the festival, we will switch to a more relaxed program, visiting the rare natural wonder of the Pink Lake. This special lake is a rarity in Europe and offers a breathtaking view.
Village walks in Bácskossuthfalva and Bácsgyulafalva: In the afternoon, we will visit the villages of Bácskossuthfalva and Bácsgyulafalva, where local culture and traditions come to life. After a three-course lunch, we will visit a weaving workshop to gain insight into local crafts.
Kupuszini evening: The evening will be crowned by a local dinner in Kupuszin, where you can experience the region’s traditional customs and dances. The event’s highlight will be the homemade rakija, guaranteed to create a joyful atmosphere. The festivities will conclude with dancing and music late into the night.

Sunday

Exploring the Sombor market and rural life: The day begins with a visit to the local Sombor market, where you can shop and discover local handicrafts. After breakfast, we will check out of our accommodation and continue our adventure.
Visit to the Doroszló Holy Well: Our next destination is the Doroszló Holy Well, one of the region’s most important pilgrimage sites. Here, we will learn about its history during a short village walk.
Bezdán and the treasures of the Danube region: Arriving in Bezdán, we will conclude the program with a delicious lunch at a local fish restaurant, where you can taste the region’s famous fish soup. Afterwards, you can take a village tour in Béreg and purchase local handmade products for your loved ones.
