Petrovaradin:
Petrovaradin Fortress: Start the day at the stunning Petrovaradin Fortress, where we will explore the history of the fortress and the mystery of the clock tower. From the heights of the fortress, there is a breathtaking view of the Danube and the surrounding landscape.
Novi Sad:
Danube Park: Our next stop is the beautiful green area in the heart of the city. Danube Park is Novi Sad’s central green oasis, where nature lovers can relax. As we walk, we can rest under the shady trees, enjoy the fresh air and peace, while also getting a glimpse into the daily lives of the locals.
Danube Street: Located in the historic center of Novi Sad, Danube Street is one of the oldest and busiest streets in the city. It is the hub of local commerce, lined with traditional shops, modern stores, restaurants, and cafes. Walking along this street, we can admire the facades of old buildings while getting acquainted with local flavors and aromas.
Zmaj Jovina Street: This street is the cultural and social heart of Novi Sad, where the vibrant atmosphere of the city is most palpable. Along this pedestrian street are the Bishop’s Palace and the Orthodox Cathedral, both of which are of great architectural and historical significance. Visiting these landmarks, we gain insight into Novi Sad’s religious and cultural heritage.
Main Square (Liberty Square): The historical center of Novi Sad, Liberty Square, hosts the Town Hall, the Catholic Cathedral, and the Serbian National Theatre. These monumental buildings are not only central to the city’s cultural and political life but also to the entire region. The square is a popular venue for events, celebrations, and community gatherings, where locals and tourists alike can meet.
Synagogue and Banovina Palace: During the tour, we will visit the impressive Novi Sad Synagogue, one of the city’s most magnificent buildings. Next to the Synagogue, we will see the Banovina Palace, which houses the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. Both buildings are significant to Novi Sad’s architectural and historical heritage.
