Saint Stephen’s Day and New Bread Festival in Kanjiža

The Saint Stephen’s Day and New Bread Festival is held in August every year at the main street and town square of Kanjiža.

The festival starts on Saturday with cultural and traditional programs during the day and concerts during the evening. Sunday starts with mass and the blessing of the new bread in Catholic and Orthodox churches. After the mass, guests can visit the bazaar and enjoy distinctive local goulash.
