The lake is rich in fish and is suitable for sport fishing throughout the year. During the summer, the lake turns into a resting place for all lovers of nature.
Lake Međeš is located on the southern slope of Fruška gora near the town of Šatrinci, not far from Irig village. The surface of the lake is about 48 hectares, the depth of the lake ranges from 4-5 meters, although in some places it is up to 12 meters deep. The lake is rich in fish and because of this, this is the blue space of the paradise for sport fishermen that it welcomes throughout the year. In the warm months, it turns into a real little resort for all nature lovers. There is a larger beach with gravel on the shore. There is also a beach volleyball and table tennis court, as well as a small restaurant where you can drink and eat something. This lake is in private proprerty just as Lake Šelovrenac is, although Lake Šelovrenac is not as urbanized and not enclosed, so the access to the lake is free for everyone.
