Poets’ Night in Čoka

Literary evening organized by the Center of Culture and Education of Čoka.

Held in the city library, this event has several guests from more distant places, such as the members of Sziveri János Művészeti Színpad (cultural organization) from Mužlja. Young participants can show their talents at reciting and singing. Books by the authors and poets present at the book launch can be purchased at the end of the event.

Drummer Festival in Čoka

The Drummer festival (also known as the town crier festival) commemorates the craft of town criers. In olden days, drum rolls were a way of communicating in the Čoka area.
