Lake Provala

The deepest lake in Vojvodina is located some 2 km from the village of Vajska, and was formed by the great flood of the Danube in 1924.

Provala lake is the largest swimming resort in the municipality of Bač, where up to 3000 swimers are gathered over the year. The site is 72 km away from Novi Sad. The lake, connected to the Danube, is also an ideal place for fishing. Every year various events and competitions are held there. During the summer months, a motorcycle reunion is held on the lake, then a tournament - the Serbian beach volleyball championship, as well as a beach volleyball school for the youngest with celebrated volleyball player Vanja Grbic. There is a sandy beach with parasols, and it’s a short walk away from a restaurant and a bar.
