Old Artesian Well in Zimonić

The well known as Csordakút, aka. “Baráthok kútja” offers nature lovers an opportunity to enjoy medicinal water.

At the edge of Zimonić, part of the Kanjiža municipality, lies the region's huge saline drylands area known as "Járás." Four artesian wells were drilled here at the end of the 1800s. Only two remain of the four. One of them is the Baráthok kútja, named after the owner of a nearby farm. Baráthok kútja is a beautifully constructed bathing spot that provides opportunity to relax in tune with nature.
